Freehold Grand Buffet

Not bad...good service...food ok

It was late when we got here around Wednesday at 9PM, they close at 10PM. In the parking me and my brother-in-law agreed that there would be stale food and little of it. Boy were we wrong! Most of the food looked fresh and there was plenty of it. I occasionally have lunch here because the lunch sushi is pretty decent. I love salmon. At dinner time they had salmon sashimi that was as good as I ever had! I got my money's worth right there. The clams on the half shell were as good as at any clam bar, unlike the Tokyo buffet clams which are treated with some sort chemical which makes them taste awful. The blue claw crabs were so fresh they were too hot to eat, but they were delicious. I went with a party of seven with no complaints. This place has more good days than not so good days (I never had a bad meal here so I won't say bad days) but it's not as bad as people are making it out to be.
