Freehold Grand Buffet

Not bad...good service...food ok

It was late when we got here around Wednesday at 9PM, they close at 10PM. In the parking me and my brother-in-law agreed that there would be stale food and little of it. Boy were we wrong! Most of the food looked fresh and there was plenty of it. I occasionally have lunch here because the lunch sushi is pretty decent. I love salmon. At dinner time they had salmon sashimi that was as good as I ever had! I got my money's worth right there. The clams on the half shell were as good as at any clam bar, unlike the Tokyo buffet clams which are treated with some sort chemical which makes them taste awful. The blue claw crabs were so fresh they were too hot to eat, but they were delicious. I went with a party of seven with no complaints. This place has more good days than not so good days (I never had a bad meal here so I won't say bad days) but it's not as bad as people are making it out to be.

I heard this place was great from my dad. So when he came to visit. I took him. He was disappointed. It's definitely not the same. Hardly any choices to pick and the place was empty on a Saturday!!

Lots to choose from, great staff, plenty of room, priced right but.... if you go off peak hours the food does tend to sit a while as with most buffets.

Food is good - and plentiful. Good selection, but it is almost always the same. Never to crowded that you have to wait - and as it is a buffet, you're eating in no time. Lots of parking.

Food OK IF YOU'RE REALLY HUNGRY GREAT PLACE TO EAT

Love this place, the food is excellent. No complaints, go here at least twice a year and I am never dissapointed!

I have been going 4 years 4 the crab legs if u think ur getin red lobster crab legs no but 4 all u can eat good enough. Agree service is as every1 says sux. Ps. U have to know the tricks to get the meat for most of the crab legs they don't all snap easy alot r soft.

Great food for the most part. Some of it can be nasty or old as people are complaining but they will make a fresh order for you if you ask the staff. Lunch offers reasonable prices.

They did not have a great selection and the food was not that great.

Food is good but I mostly go there to see the Chinese women, I love chinese women they're my favorite, I but do find the one that's short, long hair with braces and tattoos on her arm to be very cute and adorable, love to ask her out .if she taken I see a others that I like too. I LOVE CHINESE AND ALL OTHER ASIAN WOMEN.. might I mention I come there like twice a week, so I'm a regular there

It is a Chinese buffet, lower quality. It reminded me of one i went to in Brick once, so I gave it 4 instead of 3 stars purely for nostalgia. The food was good but has that low quality Chinese buffet food thing about it where you like it or you don't. Crab legs had tons of salt on it, which was a great thing.
